About the Event
During this Fair Housing Month and Housing Futures Month workshop, we will explore the past, present, and future of fair housing rights in St. Louis. Through a blend of interactive activities and group discussions, we will delve into the Fair Housing Act and the Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing Law, and how they impact the future of housing for communities facing discrimination and lack of housing access.
Learn about your fair housing rights as a tenant or homeowner, and gain valuable knowledge on how to identify and combat housing discrimination. The workshop will be led by Metropolitan St. Louis Equal Housing and Opportunity Council and PolicyLink, who will provide an overview of topics such as fair housing rights, housing equity, and the impact of discriminatory housing practices on marginalized communities.
